Well here comes the bad news...
Oracle will not be releasing anymore Jupiter Moon volumes in the forseeable future. They have been awaiting the outcome of certain TV broadcast negotiations before making this decision, which is why we have had a couple of months with no news.
However... it is possible that should Jupiter Moon be picked up for broadcast somewhere that they can capitalise on, or should sales of existing volumes grow further, then they may recommence the releases. As I said earlier in the thread, Oracle did extend their option on Jupiter Moon from 60 episodes to the full 150, so they obviously think it is worth having an interest in.
In the meantime, I thank you all for your very kind words and enthusiasm for the programme. We have managed to release 60 episodes of this programme so far and that is no mean feat. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Oracle for bringing us this far and for taking steps above and beyond what I certainly expected. Yes, admittedly there were occasional technical issues with some releases that were dissapointing, but the extras content was well above standard.
In the meantime, for those of you who are going cold turkey, then keep telling people how good it is - more sales and awareness could equal new DVD's!
Do please keep posting. I have ideas on increasing the website content, and I'm sure that will be of interest.

Sad news indeed. As you said, Nathan, I think it's terrific that we got 60 episodes released. I would never have imagined that a couple of years ago. ;D It looks like I'll never get to see the final third of the series.

You've not seen 109 - 150??? No, never! When it was shown on the Sci-Fi Channel, I never had cable. Only 108 for me!

Bloody Hell, mate! That's shocking. I had no idea. I may be able to sort that for you at some point in the future - but hey, you've waited 15 years, whats a little more time

Sad news. Are there any options for fans to get hold of the remaining episodes? No one on ebay has put together a VCD/video version (I often check). The very last episode I ever saw (in 1991) involved Daniel and Drummond on the bridge, piloting the ILEA out of the system.

Well certainly if anyone did put episodes for sale on ebay they would be reported immediately for copyright theft.
This is especially important seeing as there are constant negotiations for broadcasting rights and, as I understand it, the DVD situation is always up for review at approriate times seeing as Oracle have actually extended their option. I wouldn't want anything undermining this.
If I am reading you right, you are in the same situation as Chris and have only seen the original 108 broadcast on BSB Galaxy. Your best bet it to seek out someone who taped the Sci-Fi channel run.
If there is anymore news or developments on this I will let you know.
Good luck!

Apologies for my ignorance. I think several VCD recordings of other films/TV must slip through the net occasionally on ebay.
On another note, I think you must be right - I only saw the BSB run and wasn't aware that SCI-FI ever transmitted the series...Hmmm, I wonder if they will again. I'm getting withdrawals!!!!!!!!

Sorry G33, I wasn't getting at you or anything. It is very frustrating. I just don't approve of the ebay route. If I can help I will.
If you register properly I can keep you updated via email as to anything that comes up.

Does The Sci-Fi channel still have an option to show the series I wonder or has their option long since expired?

The European arm of the Sci-Fi Channel commenced its fourth run in January 1998. They had the rights to show it six times. However, due to their eccentric repeat scheduling most episodes have been shown five times, although some of the early episodes have had six airings, and others only four!
So that looks like a "no" then!
Actually I know it is a no because Andromeda are negotiating with them at the moment.

Well that's good news. I hope the deal goes through. And if they do get it, I hope they give it a decent slot. 6.30pm GMT three times a week would be a good one. Get your audience whilst the boring regional news is on and before Emmerdale kicks off. That should secure them a nice little audience. Anyway, I'm jumping the gun. I'm actually quite surprised that UK Gold never picked it up. It would be ideal fodder for them, provided they scheduled it right.

I also have never seen the rest of the episodes I may also be wrong but did I see in the Sky EPG several months ago Jupiter Moon on Granada Plus? And of course with the advent of Blue-Ray or HD-DVD they could release the hole lot on one or two discs. Automan.
