Greetings from Lemon 1970 in Dublin. During the summer on a visit to Belfast I came across the DVD's of Jupiter Moon in WH Smiths. I almost fainted when I saw them owing to the fact that I was one of the BSB viewers in 1990 who had the Squariel. The episodes were cut short at, I think, episode 90? The DVD's I have managed to get up to episode 60 from Bensons World have left me on the edge! Does anybody have any information on when the next episodes are due to be released? Regards, Lemon.

It is a hell of a place to leave it, isn't it?
So far there is no date set for the next batch of releases from Oracle, however at the same time they have not said that they will be discontinued.
So we'll just have to sit tight for the near future.
Although I would not encourage an email campaign to push Oracle into making an announcement (as I am sure they are quite capable of doing that themselves), it can do no harm to drop them a line to let them know how much you have enjoyed the releases so far which will at least keep it at the front of their minds.

Hi Nathan. Thank you for the response. I will send Oracle an email myself. This series, Jupiter Moon, is too addictive to just leave at episode 60. There are 100 more to go. The only video footage Ihave of JM is the last week of transmission of Galaxy where somebody was locked in an air chamber where it was minus 60 degrees. I cant remember the carachter butI've been going overthis video footage and it brings a lump to my throat at the thoughts that I will have to wait at least till episode 90 to jog my memory as to what happened, but think it is Anna B who was locked in the air chamber! Let's hope Benson's world release a box set maybe so we can catch up on what the happenings are. Cheers, Lemon1970

Hi Lemon.
If you're going to discuss anything that goes beyond the current DVD releases, can you please include a spoiler warning? It's so it doesn't spoil the surprise for viewers new to the show on DVD.
By the way, I think you're talking about the bit when...
*****SPOILER*****
Gabriella stows away in Drummond's shuttle without his knowledge. ;D

Hi Chris, its great to correspond with people who are watching Jupiter Moon. It makes me feel that I wasn't the only one who appreciated the best space programme ever made in the UK. Dr. Who is good now but Jupiter Moon is way ahead of it's time. Just listen to NASA talk about sending people to Mars recently in the press. They talked about relationships developing in board the ships! Isn't this what JM did on Galaxy in 1990 long before NASA made this press statement this month! Perhaps people at NASA are fans also! Really looking forward to the next DVD's. Regards, Lemon

Yes, sorry I Haven't been around here much recently - A happy New Year to you all and hope you had a good Christmas. It's on my to do list for the next week or so to talk about the DVD's with the relevant parties to try and see exactly what the state of play is. Anyhow, once I know what is going on, I'll be able to to tell you all how we will all be able to move forward. Sorry if this post is somewhat negative, but to be honest I really don't have a clue at the moment. The last time I spoke to Oracle it was undecided. That said, last year at this time things had definitely been stopped and we've had 6 more volumes since then. So who knows what the future will hold. Sit tight, and I'll find out for you. With any luck if Oracle have been receiving friendly encouraging emails over the last couple of months there maybe a lot to look forward to
