With Oracle planning a break in releasing future volumes of JM after the October release, what happen if Oracle decide not to release the remaining 90 episodes?
Is there an alternative source for the remaining episodes that anyone knows about?
The break after the release of Volume 9 could cause interest in future volumes to wain.

I've no idea about alternate sources for episodes, but I can't see anyone who's bought the DVDs to have their interest wane just because there's a gap until the next one. They'll be gagging for it! ;D

Chris - Exactly
Nathan - I'd never seen an episode until I'd watched Volume 1 just under 2 weeks ago

Therefore, whenever another volume is released, this will be the first time that I have seen the episode.
e.g. when volume 8 is released it will be the first time that I will have seen episodes 51-55

I think you'll enjoy Volume 8 - there's some good comedy moments in those episodes!

I'm enjoying them all for the first time too (even if I did catch a few episodes on BSB all those years ago). It'd be very sad if the releases weren't ultimately completed, but I think that we should interpret the two month gap as nothing more than that, unless we hear otherwise. And obviously, the more friends that we can tempt towards Jupiter Moon, the better the sales will be - and consequently, the better the security of the series will be... Particularly if those friends spread the word too... ;D
Besides, by Christmas, we'll have 60 episodes of Jupiter Moon available, and that's quite something for a series that has never had a UK terrestrial broadcast. Oracle are to be commended for their faith in the series.

Absolutely!
I had no idea Jupiter Moon was even coming out on DVD. I remember being in Borders with my sister and looking through one of the sci-fi mags. I saw the advert for the Jupiter Moon DVD and was jumping about like a madman!
To even have 50 episodes of the show on DVD is amazing. Honestly, it's the last thing I'd have ever expected to be released on DVD. Anything after now is just a bonus. Seriously.

Well, if nothing else, the DVD releases have upped the awareness of the series. Without them, I doubt I'd be here at the JM Forum. Hopefully, Oracle have been responsible for the awakening of fresh fan interest in the series. As you say, I'm chuffed with even the 50, though I can't deny that I'd be massively disappointed if the run wasn't finished. Let's hope we can all avoid that particular downer!
However, I do think that with JM it is important to buy the releases as they come out, rather than wait for a sale price as one might with a popular series or a movie. If too many people do that with a slow-burn seller like JM, Oracle would undoubtedly be forced to think again about releasing them. Let's hope the sales are healthy.
