Has anyone got it yet? I didn't realise it was coming out so soon, so I only ordered it on Saturday. I haven't had a despatched email from Play yet. Any news?

Well I always suspected that the 3rd of October date was wrong, so I wasn't really expecting it. However Play reportedly have it in stock and it is "processing" now so I would expect to have it by Thursday ------------------------ I haven't even thought of a banner for it yet!!!

Mine was despatched from Bensons World last Friday - along with three confirmation emails over the next successive days - and I received it yesterday!
Having not had time to watch Volume 8 yet, I now have a Jupiter Moon bottleneck. Sounds like a curious medical term.

No sign of it arriving just yet, but then I'm a good few volumes behind anyway, so it's not as if I'm champing at the bit for a new one...
Not that it won't prompt a big smile when it drops through the letterbox... ;D

Hmmm, that's confusing. The latest info *we* had (I work for a video wholesaler), was that it had gone to 'no date'. Good job I saw this thread!

Dittoing the ditto... Should have it by the end of the week... though 'Jupiter Moon' will soon be fighting it out with 'Kolchak the Night Stalker' for my attention. That's just despatched from PlayUSA for the ludicrous price of £17.99 for 20 x 50 minute episodes!

I've just finished watching Volume 9. An excellent release apart from the ad break for episode 60, which has had about 2 seconds butchered from the start of part 2. The extras on this Volume are very impresssive. Good job! ;D Now a long wait for the next volume.

How come when Finbow had a comms link to the Mars mission he had live two way communications with no lag but poor Melody had to wait for 45minuts for a response from Timmy on how to hack Petra?
Automan.

I don't know - because he was using Petra in Comcen and Melody was only using her autosec?

Yes, Melody was sending a private message via autosec and as such would have to be cued, whereas with Finbow it was bridge to bridge. I loved this disc Episode 59 is fantastic (and so is 60). Vanda is a real shot in the arm isn't she? Now we have Jim actually speaking it is like "proper" Jupiter Moon! I have seen these episodes countless times before (infact recently to prep this release) but I was glued to the TV and jumping up and down waiting for the next lot! The look, the writing, the performances are all superb and have truly settled - some great lines in there if you listen out - "in that case half of Space City must be prematurely senile" It now gets continually better (and better) right up to episode 100! As Chris Stacey said "I think it is the best thing on TV at the moment".

Seems unfair that all everyone (especially when they had to pay for the call) would not have access to a comms system that operated above the speed of light Automan.

Seems unfair that all everyone (especially when they had to pay for the call) would not have access to a comms system that operated above the speed of light Automan. Hmmm, yeah. This is the sort of thing they tried very hard to avoid of course. Thing is it need not necessarily have been out of the system, it could have been doing a slingshot or soemthing that would have kept it within the comms range. Thing is in the next episode Stefan says it was in the Asteroid belt! Of course the next episode need not be the next day... At the end of the day having the Marinaris call wasn't really necessary and I do think it was a mistake. Doug Bertram (Science Advisor) did make some notes on this.
